Rafaela Rica

She is a successful entrepreneur from Albania, she founded her own company at the age of 23, which is one of the biggest dynamic, innovative and integrated Advertising and Communications agencies in Albania. She graduated from the University of Tirana with a Bachelor’s degree with major in English and 10 years later, she was awarded MBA from University Institute Kurt Bösch in Sion, Switzerland.

Since 2018, she is a PhD candidate at the Consortium of the International Joint Cross-Border PhD Programme in International Economic Relations and Management in Austria and her research topic is the “Factors affecting Female Entrepreneurship in Albania. She credits the success of her to the motivated team of 22 young professionals who grew up together, worked hard, trusted and believed everyday in the common goal and the vision of their leader.

Being one of the rare women entrepreneurs in year 1999, she was always invited as a motivational speaker becaming a role model for many young women and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Chantal Yelu Mulop

She is the Special Advisor to the President of DRCongo on Youth, Gender & Violence against Women, she is a leading activist, a recognized humanist and feminist, a fighter for social justice, economic and women’s rights, without forgetting of course a passionate of the fight against all forms of injustice such as immigration reform, health care reform, reproductive rights, the natural environment, racial equality and workers’ rights. 

Having spent more time outside the country, in the DR Congo (mainly in Canada and Belgium), Chantal is multilingual. She is fluent in French, English, Kikongo, Lingala and some Swahili. Dr. Sanja Popovic Pantic 

She is Leading innovation in SME sector and female entrepreneurship. She is the President of the biggest national association of female entrepreneurs in Serbia running since 1998. During that time, nearly 200 projects have been realized in strengthening female entrepreneurial initiatives, projects, start up and established companies. She obtained PhD in female entrepreneurship in 2013. at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade, Serbia.

She has been chairing Woman’s Entrepreneurship Group within the EU funded project Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) since May 2015. She is the author of two books based on the research of female entrepreneurship in Serbia viz.: “From vulnerable to sustainable group” – how to overcome poverty among women through self-employment in 2007 , “Sustainability of female businesses”, which was published in 2010. She has been engaged also as UN Women expert in their project “Advancing women’s economic and social rights in Serbia.”

Currently, she is engaged as the Sustainability expert by Executive Agency for SMEs (EASME) which is the appointment within the EEN’s new expert group on sustainability support to SMEs.

Hayat Jmammou

She is Swiss based Philanthropist, Art Collector and Art Advisor, she is the Founder of Hayat Fine Art Advisory, Hayat Fine Art Selection, La Filature and H.J. Consulting. She manages some of the most important private and corporate collections, curates art exhibitions, organises events to protect historical sites such as a Roman site in Baalbek, Lebanon as also with Aliph, a Swiss based foundation acting for the protection of heritage in conflict areas.

She is the First woman Area Director in India at The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), popularly known as the Taj Group, that manages a portfolio of over 200 hotels, resorts, jungle safaris, palaces, spas and in-flight catering services. It is best known for its iconic Taj brand of Luxury hotels. Kanika in her role as Area Director is responsible for the operation and success of 9 hotels in the North and Central Indian states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh where she with a team of 1600 associates leads lush hotel properties like the spa-resort Taj Rishikesh, The Taj Corbett, the legendary Taj Mahal Lucknow, and the historical Heritage and Palaces properties of Taj Nadesar Palace Varanasi and Usha Kiran Palace Gwalior, as well as the brand new Taj Lakeview Bhopal where she is based as GM.

Dr. Nicoleta Acatrinei

Economist and Entrepreneur, she is CEO & Founder Impact Investing Metrics. Alumni of Princeton University, USA, and also Swiss School of Public Administration, Switzerland, she started her career in banking and received her Ph.D. in 2014. Entitled Work motivation and pro-social behavior in the delivery of public services: theoretical and empirical insights, her thesis showed that intrinsic and extrinsic motivations may coexist simultaneously, and that both types of motivation may foster pro-social and altruist behavior at work. She has authored books, book chapters and journal articles, including: Saint John Chrysostom and Homo oeconomicus (2008); Let’s talk about money, let’s talk about human nature (2007); The determinants of work motivation in the delivery of public services: the case of the Swiss education sector (2015); and Perspectives of Saint John Chrysostom for the VUCA world. Based on her work on patristic literature and her PhD on work motivation and altruism at work, she designed an integrative mindfulness program to cope with managerial challenges in a VUCA world.

Caroline Sack Kendem

Caroline Sack Kendem is the co-founder and President of AWEP Cameroon (The African Women Entrepreneurship Program for Cameroon ). She is also the chairperson for AWEP Central Africa and a representative of all the French speaking AWEP branches (total of 19 branches). Caroline is a woman committed to the fight against the economic and social exclusion of African women for almost 13 years now. Her activism and commitment radiate in Africa.

In 2012, when she launched AWEP Cameroon, she was a pioneer in the fight for better access for women in the business world. AWEP activities are aimed at female entrepreneurship, coaching, leadership, mentoring as well as the empowerment of young girls and women. In 2017, AWEP Cameroon received a 85 000 USD grant from the US Department of State for the implementation of an empowerment project for women and young girls in the northern regions of Cameroon which faced at that time terrorism. Caroline was the lead coordinator of that 2-year project which involved the training and capacity building of 500 grassroots young girls and women. 

Dr. Dominique J.E. Delporte Vermeiren

President of Groupe VerDel Holding, she is CEO of VerDel Innovation and Social impact Tech investor. She is a seasoned (non-) executive, serial entrepreneur, social impact tech investor, researcher and EU policy writer. Today she acts as CEO of a boutique consulting firm in governance, strategy and enterprise architecture and is President of the Family Holding. Teuta Sahatqija

Dr. Dilshani Bogollagama

She is a Medical Doctor, specializing in Sustainable Health Solutions and serving as a Child Protection Advisor, her commitment to child welfare and human rights advocacy is evident through her special appointments. She has been entrusted with critical roles such as being a member of the Committee to monitor the implementation of Child Protection Measures and the Committee to study and make recommendations for the protection, care, and well-being of children subjected to various forms of violence in Sri Lanka, both appointments made by the President of Sri Lanka. Additionally, she served as a member of the Panel of Experts tasked with formulating guidelines for the Police Department during public riots, under the purview of the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka. She is also the founder of Trident Empowerment inaugurated in February 2022, an initiative dedicated to raising awareness and fostering inclusivity for the empowerment of the differently abled community in Sri Lanka. 

Patricia Elias

She is a French-Lebanese Lawyer, Patricia is a specialist in International Law as also Arab, French, English and North American laws. She’s an expert on gender equality, women empowerment, women’s political participation and leadership, and ending violence against women and girls, as also on rule of law and governance. She is founder of the NGO “Avenir Liban” which supported the creation of the first Ministry of State for Women in Lebanon. As Chief of the global diplomatic campaign for Every Woman Treaty, leads the overall campaign and represents it to world leaders, Heads of States, Presidents, and Prime Ministers. She’s a former senior advisor and coordinator of the UN Women regional office for the Arab States and UN Women certified trainer in women’s political participation and leadership. She was editor of Lebanon’s 4th shadow report for the UN CEDAW committee on women’s access to justice and the 6th shadow report on women’s political participation and leadership.
