Audrey Mothupi

She is the CEO of South African based SystemicLogic Group, a global financial innovation, data and technology disruptor, specialising in emergent business models, Audrey’s experience spans across various business domains including group strategy, talent design, marketing and communications strategy, integrated with strong corporate relationship management.

In 2015, Audrey was granted honorary membership for academic and leadership excellence from the Golden Key International Honour Society and named one of Africa’s 1,000 most powerful women. She has decisively positioned SystemicLogic Group for its next generation of growth, executing a strong plan that is delivering measurable results to its clients while positioning the company for future growth. With her extensive market knowledge, Audrey passionately champions the SystemicLogic business model to deliver solutions that are tailored to the needs of the client, specific to their respective operating environments.

SystemicLogic offers end-to-end service solutions to enable radical and innovative execution in markets that desperately need reframing, with a full suite of data and technical skills and capabilities including accredited training, bespoke enterprise systems and solution architecture services. The group is a leader in Microsoft Office automation and has solved hundreds of niche client problems with minimal costs. Additional digital offerings include database administration, security and backup, data visualization, enrichment and data warehouse architecture, design and development.

Prior to joining SystemicLogic Group, Audrey served as the head of inclusive banking at the Standard Bank Group, which generated R4.8 billion as the largest affordable housing lender in the market, serving 7 million of the 10.4 million Standard Bank customers. Her division was awarded the 2013 BAI-Finacle Global Banking Innovation Award for innovation in societal and community impact and was responsible for migrating 3.5 million Standard Bank customers onto a consolidated SAP platform. Audrey worked as Chief Executive: Group Strategic Services at Liberty Group, when the organisation was ranked first, two years in a row at the Annual Corporate Research Foundation (CRF) Best Employer awards.

Audrey serves as an independent Non-Executive Director on the boards of Pick ‘n Pay, Life Healthcare Group, Arden Capital and Altona Plc. She also serves as the Chairperson of Roedean School (SA); an Advisory Board Member at Findexable – FinTech Diversity Radar; and as a member of the International Women’s Forum (IWF) and the International Women’s Forum South Africa (IWFSA). Audrey is a former Chairperson of Orange Babies South Africa and a former board member of Nordic Female Business Angel Network (NFBAN) and the Numeric Board of South Africa.

Audrey is a Fellow of the African Leadership Initiative (ALI) focused on the progressive development of values-based African leaders, which is part of a wider community of successful entrepreneurs, establishing the Aspen Leadership Network. In 2018, Audrey was recognised as both Country and SADC Regional Winner in the ICT sector for the 2018 CEO Global Influential Women in Business and Government, she was also awarded Continental Winner in the ICT Sector – CEO Global’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government.

Audrey received her BA (Hons) in Political Science from Trent University and more recently received an MIT Sloan School of Management – Executive Certificate / AI and Machine Learning. Audrey is a proud mother of two daughters and has keen interests in reading, hiking, travelling and cooking.
