Celebrating a Year of Collective Power Through Purpose at G100 UK Media Arts & Communication wing
G100 UK Meet & greet, 4 February 2026
The G100 UK Media, Arts and Communications (MAC) Wing proudly celebrated its one-year anniversary with members and supporters at the vibrant Albert’s Schloss in central London. The evening was alive with energy—rich conversations, meaningful connections, warm embraces, and a shared sense of purpose filled the space, reflecting the strength of this growing community.
The celebration was further enriched by the presence of leaders from other G100 UK Wings, including Tanya Hadzhieva and Maria Asuncion, underscoring the spirit of collaboration and unity that defines the G100 movement.
Taking the stage, UK Chair Effie Kanyua outlined the Wing’s bold vision for 2026. In a world where women are increasingly marginalised by geopolitical forces, the rise of biased and unsafe AI technologies, and persistent systemic inequalities, she emphasized the urgent need for women to stand together—supporting, amplifying, and protecting one another.
A standout moment of the evening was the launch of the “Give 100. Gain a Future” campaign. This powerful initiative calls on members to dedicate 100 hours of their time and expertise toward coaching, mentoring, strategic guidance, or pro bono contributions, transforming collective wisdom into meaningful action and long-term impact.
Perfectly aligned with this year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain,” the campaign will anchor the Wing’s upcoming IWD engagements, bringing the community together through shared contribution and purpose.
As G100 UK MAC continues to grow, it remains committed to building an influential and inclusive network of women leaders across media, arts, and communications. With ambitious expansion plans ahead, women who share this vision are warmly invited to connect with Effie Kanyua or Shelley Stuart to explore membership opportunities.
The evening concluded with sincere appreciation for the G100 MAC UK Board, and special recognition for Andrea Zara, whose leadership and dedication delivered an unforgettable celebration—one that captured the essence, momentum, and promise of G100.
