G100 Global President
A Global President is nominated every year by rotation from among the Global Chairs for a one-year tenure from January 1 to December 31. The Global President retains the portfolio as Global Chair of a wing, while leading as Global President in self-led initiatives.
The Global President seeks proactive participation from all wings to develop ideas and actions with members worldwide especially in fulfillment of the mandate as shared below. The Global President can further expand the Presidents Advisory Council and also form ad hoc committees comprising leaders from across the G100.
The Global President leverages support from Global Chairs, Country Clubs, the Denim Club, and the Secretariat for planning global outreach and meetings, particularly encouraging annual wing summits in coordination with Global Chairs.
The role of Global President includes the following mandate in general, but each incoming Global President can prepare a personal and precise roadmap, selecting spheres of influence that align most with one’s strengths and networks, with strategic synergies and resourcefulness of reach and relationships.
The Global President leads high-level global meetings and delegations, develops strategic partnerships, and invites influential leaders to the G100, to scale and strengthen our global influence and impact.
The Global President plays a vital role in advancing the group’s ELLEGOSSSE principles on the global stage, specifically for their adoption in policy development across governments worldwide. This is achieved through active participation in intergovernmental fora like the UN, EU, AU, G7, and G20. By engaging with these fora, the Global President helps shape policy agendas, promote international cooperation, and drive progress toward a more equitable and sustainable world.
In addition, the Global President also engages with various collectives such as for parliamentarians, industry, trade, media, think tanks, business, associations, universities, and networks. This multi-faceted approach enables the Global President to foster collaborative relationships, promote knowledge sharing, and drive meaningful change with partners across the board.
The Global President represents all wings at global events and conferences, signing agreements on behalf of the group. The Global President is the voice of harmony, guided by principles of neutrality, centrality, sorority, and humanity, and adhering to a non-political, non-religious, and non-dogmatic code of conduct.
