Africa Rising: Trade, Leadership, and Solidarity Paving the Way

G100 Tanzania Meetings, Tanzania, 9-11 July 2025

The vibrant city of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, hosted the impactful G100 – Tanzania Meetings as part of the Africa Trade & Investment Conference (ATIC). Organized under the theme “Tanzania is the Bridge to Business in Africa and Beyond”, this landmark event brought together over 500 influential leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, investors, and changemakers from across the continent and beyond. The conference served as a powerful platform to foster economic collaboration, strengthen regional ties, and spotlight Africa’s immense potential in trade, investment, and inclusive leadership.

As part of her global journey to represent and uplift women leaders worldwide, Dr. Pauline Crawford arrived in Tanzania to join this dynamic gathering, which celebrated innovation, women’s entrepreneurship, and visionary African leadership.

The opening day set an empowering tone by celebrating the Life Achievements of HRM Kgosi Gaboilelwe Moroka, Queen of Barolong Boo, South Africa, and HRH Queen Mother Dr. Nana of Ghana. These revered royal figures were honoured with the PHD Entreprenology Award, acknowledging their impactful leadership and lifelong dedication to societal development.

Amidst a distinguished gathering of ministerial dignitaries, global VIPs, and changemakers from across Africa, the event was brought to life by the visionary leadership of Neema Mleli, G100 Country Chair for Tanzania – Wing: Authentic Harmony & Positive Masculinity. Her dedication to The African Dream and regional collaboration was evident in the seamless execution and aspirational vision behind the conference.

In partnership with Dr. Crawford and other prominent women leaders, the conference proudly launched the AWEN – African Women Export Network, a bold initiative to expand cross-border business and leadership opportunities for women entrepreneurs across the continent. This network is poised to play a pivotal role in elevating Africa’s SHEconomy on a global scale.

Day 2 featured an inspiring keynote by Dr. Pauline Crawford, who captivated the audience during the women’s leadership session with her thought-provoking address: “Creating a Harmonious #JointCustodyWorld.” Her message emphasized collaboration between men and women, underpinned by mutual respect and co-leadership, reinforcing the G100 mission of building an equitable and prosperous world.

The conference buzzed with energy, particularly around female empowerment and youth entrepreneurship. Special attention was given to Youth Emerging Leaders, who were not only invited to attend but also encouraged to pitch their ideas, connect with mentors, and explore future investment opportunities. Their participation added vibrancy and a sense of future-focused purpose to the event.

Overall, the G100 Tanzania Meetings and ATIC 2025 established a new benchmark for inclusive economic development, showcasing Africa’s potential through the lenses of women entrepreneurship, investment readiness, trade collaboration, and youth empowerment.

Dr. Crawford proudly presented the G100 Mission Million at this transformative gathering, envisioning continued wisdom-sharing and deeper continental impact year after year. With the momentum built in Tanzania, the journey now looks forward to future editions of ATIC in different African nations — fostering unity, growth, and inclusive prosperity for generations to come.
