Connecting ChangeMakers, Catalyzing Change: Mobilizing Momentum for Mission Million

G100 paris Meetings, France, 26 July 2025

On July 26th, we held a successful gathering and networking luncheon in Paris, featuring esteemed guests including Elizabeth Moreno, former French Minister, and Gabriela Ramos, Mexico’s official candidate for Director-General of UNESCO.

The event coincided with Afro-descendant Women’s Day on July 25th, aligning with Excellency Elisabeth Moreno’s ADWIN initiative. We also expressed our support for Gabriela Ramos’ candidacy, welcoming the prospect of another strong female leader at the helm of UNESCO.

Over 30 distinguished guests attended, including global chairs, country chairs, and prospective new members, specially invited by Global Chairs Vanessa Florence Roux, who now heads the wing of Coaching & Training, and Lamia Hanafi, who has taken the lead at the Start Up Ecosystems wing.

The lunch highlighted crucial insights, including the need for women to unite globally and work towards a shared vision to bridge gaps. The key points emphasised the importance of collective action, highlighting that the time is now to support women from all backgrounds in finding visibility, voice, and influence to drive peace and progress. Furthermore, progress is not guaranteed, and regression can occur without continued perseverance and support. Additionally, including men from diverse walks of life, such as the G100 Denim Club, is essential for fostering solidarity and accelerating progress on this journey.

We were also pleased to welcome Benjamin Brockt, Public Relations Director at the Paris Peace Forum Permanent Secretariat, who invited us to curate a session alongside the forum, which we were delighted to follow up on. We have been present at the forum earlier in Paris, when our Global Chair for World Peace, Nobel Peace Laureate H.E. Ouided Bouchamaoui, was a speaker.

After the luncheon, we went for meetings at MEDEF (Mouvement des Entreprises de France), France’s largest business federation. MEDEF represents entrepreneurs and businesses nationwide, advocating for economic growth, competitiveness, and job creation. Their “Women of MEDEF” initiative, launched in 2019, promotes diversity and female leadership, uniting women leaders and members.

At MEDEF, we met with Dominique Carlac’h, Vice-President and Spokesperson, MEDEF. Dominique is a renowned businesswoman and former professional athlete, holding various leadership roles in MEDEF and beyond.

Together with Lamia Hanafi, G100 Global Chair, Start Up Ecosystems wing, and Inès Baudienville at MEDEF International, who facilitated the meeting, we explored possibilities for a partnership for our Women Economic Forum conference and a CEOs summit and retreat. Collaborating with MEDEF would provide an excellent opportunity for women leaders across our communities to share ideas and insights, empowering women’s entrepreneurship, leadership, and economic vibrancy, as envisaged by the SHEconomy.

Indeed, partnerships with various like-minded communities, networks, and organisations is key to mobilising momentum for our Mission Million—uniting a million women in solidarity, toward leading the change we seek.

As we move forward, we look forward to turning these outcomes into reality and remain committed to fostering empowering collaborations in all aspects of life. By working together, we believe we can create a more peaceful, progressive, and prosperous world for everyone.
