In early autumn, the first International Forum of Kazakhs of the World “KZ Empowering Women” was held in Astana. Organized by the public foundations “Arial” and “Moldir Umit” in collaboration with G100, the event coincided with the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan and Family Day, under the theme “A Million Likes – Women Who Did a Million Deeds.”

The forum gathered Kazakh women from around the world who have achieved success in various fields. They shared their inspiring life stories, discussed women’s empowerment, gender equality, and anti-violence initiatives, and explored ways to strengthen cooperation and networking among active women.

Distinguished guests included Orazkul Asangazi, Dr. Reshide Yuksel, Kyrmyzy Saparkyzy, Asylgul Abish, and Kuralai Eshmuratova. The event featured cultural performances by the Korkyt ethno-ensemble, fashion shows by Kerbez Models and AsianCharmModels, and a traditional-themed defile by designer Raushan Anuarbekova.

Forum founder Umitkul Daulenova, President of “Moldir Umit” and G100 Kazakhstan Chair, emphasized the importance of unity, knowledge exchange, and empowerment among Kazakh women. During the event, she was awarded the “Language Sympathizer” medal for her contribution to the promotion of the Kazakh language.

The accompanying “People’s Treasure” exhibition-fair showcased national crafts and domestic products, promoting cultural heritage and national values.

Overall, the forum became a successful and inspiring platform that united women from different generations and countries. It symbolized solidarity, progress, and pride, highlighting the vital role of Kazakh women as leaders, innovators, and changemakers in society both at home and abroad.
