Shaping Tomorrow’s World Through Women-Led Leadership for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future
G100 Global Summit 2025, Lisbon, Portugal, 11-12 Dec 2025
The G100 Global Summit, held online over two consecutive days in December and broadcast live from Lisbon, brought together women leaders, decision-makers, experts, and changemakers from across the world for a high-level global dialogue on leadership, sustainability, innovation, advocacy, and social impact. Convened under the auspices of the G100 network, the Summit served as a dynamic international platform to amplify women’s voices, foster cross-sector collaboration, and contribute to shaping a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable future.
The event was chaired by Global President Bodil Valero and presented by Linda Pereira, Global Chair for Communication, Advocacy & Mediation, and Eliana Medeiros, UK Country Chair for Communication, Advocacy & Mediation. Their leadership and vision were instrumental in shaping both the strategic direction and the overall tone of the Summit. The Summit was organized by CPL Events & Consultancy and delivered through a live digital broadcast via the BeThere Global platform, which partnered with the G100 Global Summit to ensure a seamless, high-quality online experience and enable global participation across multiple regions and time zones.

This was followed by welcome remarks from Bodil Valero, G100 President at the time, and Harbeen Arora Rai, Founder of the G100, who reinforced the global mission, shared values, and collective ambition of the G100 network.
The Opening Ceremony also featured a special institutional message from the Honourable Portuguese Deputy Minister for Youth and Equality, Carla Rodrigues, underlining the relevance of the Summit’s themes at policy level and highlighting Portugal’s commitment to gender equality, inclusive leadership, and youth empowerment.

The first day explored leadership mindsets for the 21st century, authentic leadership, and alliance-building in times of global uncertainty. Early sessions addressed women’s participation in political life, ethical leadership grounded in values, attention as a transformative force, and collective responsibility in reshaping narratives around women and power.
A high-level G100 panel examined how women leaders navigate a rapidly changing global landscape, followed by discussions on building trust, purpose-driven leadership, and the importance of character before competence. The afternoon programme unfolded through parallel thematic sessions focusing on leadership lessons drawn from global and historical perspectives, peacebuilding and sustainability, strategic communication as a leadership tool, and women’s empowerment through resilience, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
The first day concluded with a session dedicated to mental health, reinforcing the message that women’s wellbeing is not merely an individual concern, but a collective and structural leadership responsibility.
The second day shifted the focus towards impact creation, advocacy, and the future of the global economy, with a strong emphasis on women-led solutions. Parallel sessions addressed women leading in times of pressure, transformation, and reinvention, as well as food systems, food security, environmental sustainability, human development, hunger-free world initiatives, intersectionality, community impact, and regenerative approaches.
Further sessions explored women’s leadership in innovation, artificial intelligence, the digital economy, and global governance, alongside discussions on freedom from violence, wellbeing, and economic empowerment. A dedicated session showcased women-led businesses and global acceleration initiatives, highlighting pathways from local insight to global impact and reinforcing the importance of collaborative, international ecosystems.
The Summit also created space for reflection and creativity, including a meditative art experience designed to reconnect leadership with inner awareness, balance, and purpose. The programme concluded with a session on advocacy-driven leadership, strengthening women’s voices in the global economy, followed by a Closing Ceremony that brought together the hosts to reflect on shared insights, commitments, and the collective responsibility to translate dialogue into action.
The G100 Global Summit reaffirmed the power of women-led dialogue, cooperation, and action at a global level. By convening diverse voices across regions, sectors, and disciplines, the Summit created a meaningful space for exchange, inspiration, and strategic alignment. More than an event, the G100 Global Summit stood as a collective call to action, underscoring that shaping tomorrow’s world requires courageous leadership, inclusive policies, and sustained collaboration, with women firmly at the centre of global transformation.
