Dr. Maricor M. Malitao is a distinguished leader and accomplished professional, currently serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Standout Group of Companies. Her remarkable passion for excellence is evident in her diverse contributions across scholastic, business, social, and ministry spheres. She is the National President of ARAL (Association for Righteousness Advocacy in Leadership) and the President of the Philippine Haggai Institute Alumni Association (Metro Manila Chapter). Dr. Malitao was also elected as the Vice Chairperson of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chamber of Commerce and Industries – Women Entrepreneurs Council (CACCI-WEC) in Japan.
Her leadership extends to the business community, where she holds various influential positions, including President of the Caloocan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Board Director of the Philippine Association of Service Exporters, Inc. (PASEI). She is also the President of the Tripartite Industrial Peace Council – DOLE – Caloocan and has held leadership roles in multiple civic and professional organizations, such as Assistant Governor of Rotary International District 3810 and President of the Rotary Club of Chinatown-Manila (Dist. 3810).
Dr. Malitao is an accomplished academic, earning a Doctorate in Business Management from the Philippine Women’s University (PWU) and a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of the Philippines – SOLAIR. She also holds a Master’s in Property Management and Building Administration and an AB in Mass Communication from PWU. Her academic excellence is reflected in her High Pass grade in the Comprehensive Examination for her Master’s in Industrial Relations.
Apart from her academic and professional achievements, Dr. Malitao is deeply involved in community service and ministry. She is the founder and chairwoman of the Lead the Way Foundation and co-founded Koinonia International Ministries and Koinonia International Theological School. She also serves as a broadcaster for the show “Maglingkod sa Panginoon” on DZME 1530 KHZ AM Band, a role she has held since 1995.
Her entrepreneurial spirit is evident in her membership in the Entrepreneur Society of the Philippines and the Philippines-U.S. Business Council, Inc., among others. Dr. Malitao is also a committed advocate for various social causes, serving as the Chairwoman of the OFW Sandigan Club, Inc. and a board director of the Philippine National Police – Caloocan.
