Alexandra Maramenides is the Founder of Rêve Agency, a literary and screen agency. A graduate of the University of Cambridge, Alexandra has spent her career at the forefront of the the creative publishing industry, collaborating with leading companies worldwide. She is passionate about global storytelling and building businesses with a powerful purpose.

A commercially driven leader, Alexandra founded Rêve after serving as Managing Director and CEO of publishing houses in the UK and Australia. She brings extensive expertise in leading businesses, specializing in the creation, production, licensing, sales, and distribution of content across various formats and genres. Her strategic vision has fostered successful partnerships and driven the global expansion of renowned publishing brands.

Among her career milestones, Alexandra served as Managing Director of Simon & Schuster UK’s Children’s division, where she championed bestselling authors, illustrators, and debut talents. She also served as Vice Chair of the UK Heads of Houses and held positions on several publishing boards. Earlier, she led businesses within the Bonnier Group, including the launch of Echo Publishing, and worked at leading businesses including Hachette and Phaidon.

A member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization), Alexandra served on the Executive Committee for four years, in Melbourne. She is also a Board Director for a not-for-profit association, further extending her commitment to impactful leadership. Alexandra remains deeply dedicated to nurturing creative talent and advancing the future of storytelling.
