G100 Secretariat

G100 is a public charitable trust registered in India. Membership is free, albeit by invitation only. The G100 Secretariat serves as the central coordinating body for the workings of the G100. The Secretariat is funded by the Founder and her foundations. The Secretariat works closely with the Founder and Global President on all matters. The Secretariat is led by a Director General, who is in-charge of overseeing operations across all wings, particularly the following actions: 

Wings Coordination and Support:

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for all G100 activities, ensuring communication and collaboration among Global Chairs, Country Chairs, State Chairs, Advisory Councils, Country Clubs. 
  • acilitates the development of high-level global meetings, and features them on website and socials. 

Wings Leadership and Governance:

  • Oversees the nomination, appointment, and transition of chairs across all levels, Viz. Global, Country, State, City, and for advisory and other members. 
  • Manages the formalization, review, and termination of roles, as well as wing mergers or closures.
  • Ensures compliance with the G100 policies. 
  • Addresses any disputes and disruptions, upholding the code of conduct. 
  • Guides workings on the founding principles of sisterhood and distributed leadership. Sisterhood gives us the glue of solidarity to work with multiple levels of leadership across cultures and continents, weaving a resilient framework of community through voluntary service, leadership and initiatives. Distributed leadership ensures that we all thrive with shared duties and multiplied outcomes. 
  • Safeguards the spirit of commitment, dedication, integrity as a sine qua non at the network, where everyone cares to connect, communicate and contribute, in a spirit of responsibility, responsiveness and raising the bar. 

Wings Strategic Vision and Roadmap:

  • Provides the overarching vision for each wing, while receiving roadmaps from respective chairs on their strategies to address both quantitative and qualitative goals, around the main mandate of each chair creating an engaged community of 100 members. 
  • Ensures follow-through with all chairs for their strategic steps in pursuance of their roadmaps comprising goals and outcomes.

Wings Awards and Recognition:

  • Coordinates the conferral of G100 Awards by the Global Chairs. 
  • Provides awards guidelines, awards templates, and facilitates the process. 

Wings Presence on Website and Branding: 

  • Seeks regular updates from all chairs. 
  • Updates the G100 website with latest wing information. Any chair not featured on the G100 website is not deemed a chair. 
  • Supports with wing logos, social media banners, e-stationery, formal letters and other branding resources to support outreach.

Wings Collaboration and Synergy: 

  • Facilitates collaboration among wings, promoting synergy through peer sharing and exchange. 
  • Connects country clubs, led collectively by the country chairs across wings in a given country, in the empowering presence of the resident global chair.
  • Connects wings with prospective new members and potential partners to explore synergies. 

Wings Personnel Management:

  • Manages in consultation with the founder all the roles regards invitations, withdrawals of invitations, tenure terminations, resignations, or recusals, including change of non-performing chairs and appointing new ones.
