She is Managing Director and Founder of Mandala Spices in Singapore, Dr. Meenakshi is an award-winning speaker, international entrepreneur, and recognized as one of Asia’s 100 Women Power Leaders 2023 from Singapore. She is the recipient of the “Women of Excellence 2022” award at the Women Economic Forum (WEF).

Meenakshi is the G100 Global Chair of Alliances and Alumni Wing at G100, an influential group of 100 Women Leaders from across the globe leading 100 wings in diverse domains, accelerating actions for achieving gender equality.

She also serves as President of the Singapore – India Business Council at WICCI (Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry).

Originally from Jhansi, India, Meenakshi graduated with an English Literature degree and went on to pursue a Master’s in Filmmaking from AJK Mass Communication Research Centre at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She is an Associate Alumna of Singapore Management University and resides in Singapore.

Meenakshi has significant expertise in working with C-suite executives to build new business verticals and initiatives. During her career spanning more than a decade, she has worked tirelessly in the nonprofit and charity sectors, engaging in empowering women and children in impoverished communities, particularly in Southeast Asia, through education, mentorship, volunteering, training, and fundraising for NGOs on national and international scales.

She is deeply passionate about reskilling and returnships to enable women to return to work and resume careers after a gap. After a successful career in the corporate world, Meenakshi found her calling in founding her own business—her childhood passion.

She mentors students at the National University of Singapore through NUS Women in Business, empowering them to dream and pursue their ambitions and aspirations with confidence and support.

Having lived in various countries including India, Singapore, France, Spain, and Thailand—Meenakshi believes that connections enable us to make the globe more accessible and available to everyone around us. She strongly believes in the network effect and advocates creating an ecosystem of networks where various community groups (expats), diplomats, NGOs, government agencies, corporations, and institutional pathways can come together to foster innovative mindsets and sustainable solutions.

Meenakshi represented India at UNESCO and continues to engage with UN-related alliances and networks to proliferate possibilities for partnerships and collaborations.

Meenakshi has dedicated her career to supporting women worldwide in all walks of life through the power of local and global alliances.

She is the recipient of the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Philosophy, honoris causa (Ph.D.), from Rai Technology University in Bengaluru, India.
