Natalie Fort
Natalie Fort is a distinguished Ghanaian broadcast journalist, media executive, global communicator, actress, and women’s leadership advocate, with over a decade of experience spanning journalism, media strategy, governance discourse, public affairs, and international convenings. She is widely recognized for her authoritative voice in foreign affairs, development journalism, and leadership communication across Africa and global platforms.
She began her professional journey at the age of 13 as a model and, by 15, represented Ghana at the Miss Princess of the World Pageant in Prague, Czech Republic—marking her early exposure to international platforms. Building on this global foundation, she later established The Fort Group, a diversified lifestyle, media, business facilitation, and humanitarian organization. The Group comprises Fort Media Consultancy (FMC), a media consultancy and advisory firm; Fort Art Gallery; the Natalie Fort Coaching & Mentorship Program; and The Fort Foundation, which focuses primarily on supporting the underprivileged, particularly through access to healthcare.
Natalie is a Senior Broadcast Journalist, News Anchor, and Foreign Affairs Correspondent. She began her broadcasting career with the TV3 Network of Media General, where, within less than a year, she rose to become one of the network’s lead news anchors, anchoring the flagship prime-time bulletin News 360. During her tenure, she worked on the International & General News Desk and hosted Women’s Take on 3FM (92.7), a program examining women’s influence on governance and public leadership in Ghana.
She currently serves as Senior Broadcast Journalist and Foreign Affairs Correspondent with GHOne TV and Starr FM, subsidiaries of EIB Network, Africa’s fastest-growing media group. She is also the host and executive face of the award-winning The Natalie Fort Show, which was named TV Development Show of the Year (2023) by the Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards for its contribution to development discourse, thought leadership, and impactful television programming. She has been a key anchor in the coverage of three general elections in Ghana, earning the trust of senior political leaders, policymakers, diplomats, and private-sector executives.
Her international reporting portfolio includes coverage of high-level global and continental forums such as the Doha Forum 2025 in Doha, Qatar, and the 47th Ordinary Session of the African Union, reinforcing her standing as a credible and respected voice in foreign affairs and governance journalism.
Beyond broadcasting, Natalie is an accomplished media strategist, communications advisor, and brand influencer. She is the Owner and Principal Consultant of Fort Media Consultancy (FMC) and has served as a brand influencer for leading organizations including Caveman Watches, Pepsodent Toothpaste, and All Smile Dental, among others. She also serves as a Partner and Advisory Board Member of the World Sustainability Organization and as Special Advisor to the Executive Chairman of the Sixteenth Council on Democracy, Human Rights and Rule of Law.
In February 2024, she hosted the Women Economic Forum in Lagos, Nigeria, convening women leaders, policymakers, and business executives to advance critical conversations on women’s economic empowerment and leadership across Africa.
Natalie is also an actress, having starred in House of Klu, a number-one rated Akwaaba Magic and Showmax series, expanding her influence across Africa’s media and creative industries. As a producer, she has led impactful documentary projects including Where Is Ghana Airways Today?, which examined the absence of a national carrier in Ghana, and Unkept, a documentary highlighting Ghana’s poor maintenance culture and the deterioration of public infrastructure.
She currently serves as the G100 Global Chair for Media, Arts & Communication, having previously held the role of Ghana Country Chair for the same wing. She is also the Ghana Ambassador for the GOTNI Leadership Centre, Africa’s leading leadership institute, and a recipient of the Executive Leadership Honour, presented at the GOTNI Leadership Centre CEO’s Leadership Roundtable 002. In addition, she is a Global Recognition Awards 2025 honouree, recognized for her role as an Ambassador for the Global Entrepreneurship Festival 2025.
Her leadership and impact have been recognized through numerous accolades, including Emerging Television Personality of the Year, Excellent Personality Merit Award, Gold Star Order of the Companion of Honour, Gold Star Order of Excellence, and the Distinctive Service to Humanity Medal. She is a member of the Ghana Feminine Hall of Fame, Patron of the Ghana Philanthropy Forum, and a leading advocate for women’s empowerment and ethical leadership.
Natalie is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Media Leadership with the University of Cumbria (UK). At the core of her work is a deep commitment to empowering women and young people across Africa—shaping narratives that influence policy, inspire leadership, and drive inclusive development—embodying her philosophy of raising a generation of “Women Who Work.”
