The city offered a symbolic and inspiring venue, as the Mediterranean Sea has shaped our past and continues to be the cradle of a shared future, where women fully lead, contribute, and transform. Palermo’s unique position—as a crossroads of civilizations, histories, and cultures—served as a reminder of the continuous exchange of ideas and resilience that define the region. Its ancient streets, vibrant communities, and storied landscapes framed a setting where discussions on leadership, peace, sustainability, and innovation felt especially meaningful. This unique event was organized under the presidency of @Marilena Citelli Francese and under the aegis of Laura Mattarella, First Lady of Italy and President of the Honorary Committee of @Women Economic Forum Italia. Their leadership and patronage added prestige and credibility, reinforcing the importance of elevating women’s voices at national and international levels. Their commitment to promoting women-led development, intergenerational exchange, and collaborative progress helped shape the event’s visionary direction.
