Uniting Voices, Inspiring Change: A Women’s Leadership Gathering
G100 Kenya Meetings with High Tea, 4 October 2025
The G100 Kenya High Tea brought together 35 women, including Advisory Members, Country Chairs, Regional Chairs, and County Chairs across diverse sectors such as Agriculture, Global Networking, Poverty Eradication, Security & Defence, Coaching & Training, Renewable Energy, Financial Empowerment, Anti-GBV, Global Trade, and Business Acceleration. The gathering served as a dynamic platform for connection, inspiration, and the strengthening of collective purpose.
The meeting opened with a powerful message from Dr. Harbeen Arora Rai, Founder of G100 and the ALL Ladies League. She reminded participants that “G100 is not just a network, it is a collective force of women’s voices, wisdom, and action. We are here to rise together, to connect across sectors and geographies, and to build an inclusive and sustainable future for all.”
Following this, the Global Chair of G100 Coaching & Training welcomed all participants and acknowledged Kenya’s strong engagement within the G100 movement. She emphasized the vital role of collaboration across the different wings as a key driver of collective impact and long-term success.
Ms. Vanessa Florence Roux, the Global Chair of the Coaching & Training Wing, then presented two flagship initiatives that will be developed in Kenya. The first is the Leadership Coaching Program for Women, created in partnership with the Philanthropy, Business & Poverty Eradication Wing, to mentor women leaders and entrepreneurs by strengthening their capacity, resilience, and multiplier effect within their communities. The second initiative is the Hunger Relief Project at the Kakuma Refugee Camp, designed to embody G100’s humanitarian and sustainable development mission by providing nutrition, empowerment, and skills development for refugee women to help restore dignity and hope.
During the roundtable titled “Our Vision for Kenya,” participants engaged in a rich and dynamic discussion, sharing their reflections and aspirations focused on fighting poverty and inequality, advancing financial inclusion, enhancing education and youth training with a special emphasis on breast cancer awareness during October, strengthening security, defense, and peacebuilding, promoting innovation in renewable energy and climate responsibility, eradicating gender-based violence and sexual harassment, and empowering the next generation through sports, leadership, and networking. Many powerful insights emerged from the conversation, including statements such as “Collaboration is the new currency,” “Dignity starts with cash – our mission is to put money into women’s pockets,” “Each woman needs an ID – identity is empowerment,” “Legacy is better than titles – it is what we leave behind,” “We influence without making noise,” “Every woman is born with purpose,” and “Think about yourself as a brand – you always have something to offer.”
The session concluded with a guided meditation led by the Global Chair for Coaching & Training, focusing on harmony and collaboration across the wings. Participants were invited to embody presence, unity, and collective action. The meeting then transitioned into an elegant High Tea that encouraged informal dialogue, deeper personal connections, and the exploration of future collaborations.
The gathering was marked by strong participation from leaders representing diverse sectors, inspiring exchanges of vision, the introduction of impactful projects aligned with the G100 mission, and a renewed commitment to unity, solidarity, and meaningful action. The energy in the room demonstrated a shared dedication to advancing women’s empowerment and shaping a prosperous future for Kenya.
As the event drew to a close, participants collectively agreed on the need to develop a national roadmap for Kenya under the guiding theme “Fighting Economic Violence.” Planned follow-up actions include raising awareness to enable 100,000 women to obtain a national ID as part of the “Identity for All Women” initiative, and the development of Financial Inclusion Action Plans by each wing to empower women through improved access to finance, entrepreneurship opportunities, and sustainable livelihoods.
The G100 Kenya High Tea served as a transformative moment of connection and inspiration, offering a powerful springboard for bold initiatives that will uplift women, strengthen communities, and contribute to Kenya’s journey toward inclusive prosperity.
