She is presently serving as an independent member of the Board at Telia Lietuva (listed) – part of the leading Nordic group Telia Company and the fifth largest telecom operator in Europe. Dovile is also currently a member of Board of Trustees at Institute of International Relations and Political Science (IIRPS) at Vilnius University.
Dovile started her professional journey over 20 years ago in the banking and financial sector in the United States. For the last 8 years Dovile was the CEO and Chairperson of the Board at Swedbank Lithuania – the biggest financial institution in the country servicing millions of customers. While proving excellent business results and constant growth, Dovile also had an extensive societal agenda, mostly focusing on gender equality and UN Sustainable Development Goals Agenda 2030.
Dovile’s passionate engagement helped Swedbank Lithuania become the first company in the country which ensured equal pay and eliminated gender salary gap. Dovile is one of the founders of the Lithuanian association “Lydere”, focusing on addressing gender inequality issues. She is also a co-founder and the first Chair of Young Presidents’ Organisation (YPO) Lithuania Chapter – a global leadership community for the extraordinary Chief Executives.
Dovile has served as a Board Member in both, mainly addressing gender equality and other global sustainability challenges. Dovile holds an MBA in Finance and MIS from Concordia University Wisconsin and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Concordia International University Estonia. She is a lifetime learner and a member of YPO Gold Presidents’ program at Harvard Business School since 2019. Dovile is a passionate promoter of women empowerment as well as diversity and is a strong believer that these are the crucial basis for the world’s more sustainable future.
