A New Era in Global Finance: G100 Unveils Plans for a Global Women’s Bank at CSW70

The G100 Global President Journey 2026, led by Datin Dr. (h.c.) Hartini Osman, was successfully undertaken during the 70th Session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70) in New York, United States of America. This landmark mission represents a defining step forward in advancing women’s leadership, economic empowerment, and global collaboration, highlighted by the official launch of the Global Women’s Bank (GWB) platform.
 
Held from 9 March to 13 March 2026, the mission brought together a dynamic series of high-level dialogues, forums, diplomatic engagements, institutional meetings, and international networking sessions. Designed with a clear strategic vision, the initiative focused on launching the Global Women’s Bank platform, strengthening global partnerships, promoting women’s financial inclusion, advocating for women’s leadership in global governance, and establishing impactful collaboration frameworks across public and private sectors.
 
Under the compelling theme, “Global Women’s Bank: Redesigning Finance for Dignity, Peace & Women’s Leadership,” the mission was hosted across some of New York’s most prestigious institutions, including the United Nations Headquarters, City College of New York (CCNY), Columbia University, PwC Headquarters, Hogan Lovells, the United Nations Church Center, and the Consulate General of Malaysia. The initiative was driven by the G100 Global Network, the Global Women’s Bank Initiative, the Women Economic Forum (WEF), and key strategic partners.
