Claribel Aparicio Ferreira serves as the General Director of International Affairs at Doing Business International (DBI), Bolivia. Ranked among the top CEOs in Bolivia, she was recognised among the most Influential Women from 2022 to 2024. With over 20 years of experience in Management and Leadership, she has held prominent positions in Bolivia’s most recognized business chambers, including the Chamber of Exporters, the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM Bolivia), and the National Chamber of Industries (CNI).
An expert in Corporate Affairs, Foreign Trade, and International Relations, Claribel graduated summa cum laude in Corporate Economics from Universidad Privada Boliviana (UPB), one of the leading universities in Bolivia. She also holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from INCAE Business School in Costa Rica. She has pursued professional development at prestigious institutions such as the University of Oregon, Harvard Law School, Michigan State University, the University of Washington, the University of Miami, and the ILO in Italy, and the Netherlands. Additionally, she is a former US Embassy Fellow under the Hubert Humphrey Program and the creator of AmCham Junior for entrepreneurs.
Claribel’s achievements have earned her numerous accolades, including the Medal of Honor as a Meritorious Citizen from the Plurinational Assembly of Bolivia (2015), the Jaime Escalante Recognition for Management Excellence in Washington, DC (2019-2020), the Medal for Institutional Career (2020), and the Scepter of the Business Leader from the National Chamber of Commerce (2022). She also received the Maya Award for promoting businesswomen in 2024, among other honors.
