The G100 Smart & Sustainable Cities Wing successfully convened its distinguished networking event, “Housing in an Interconnected World: Women Leading Inclusive & Resilient Urban Futures,” during the World Urban Forum 13 (WUF13) held in Baku, Azerbaijan, on 20 May 2026. The session brought together an inspiring gathering of global leaders, urban experts, policymakers, academics, innovators, and changemakers to engage in meaningful dialogue on the transformative role of women in shaping inclusive, resilient, and sustainable urban environments for future generations.
Held within the framework of WUF13, the event served as an important international platform for discussions surrounding housing, urban development, climate resilience, sustainable infrastructure, and community empowerment. Participants from diverse sectors and regions exchanged experiences, perspectives, and best practices while highlighting innovative and practical approaches to building cities that are equitable, adaptive, and future-ready.
